EU-funded pan-European Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI) project consists currently of 51 members during the preparatory phase (2008-2010). The mission of the BBMRI is to sustainably secure access to biological resources required for health-related research and development intended to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease as well as to promote the health of the citizens of Europe. This section presents of the seven Work Packages (WP) of the BBMRI project and introduce the WP-leaders and their associate leaders.
