BBMRI-ERIC Application submitted

The BBMRI-ERIC application has been submitted to the EC on Friday, June 7th, 2013. The application will be further discusse during the next ERIC Committee Meeting on June 21st, 2013. The final approval by the EC is expected to take place in autumn 2013.

About the Director General of BBMRI-ERIC

The Director General will act as the legal representative and the Chief Executive Officer of BBMRI-ERIC. She/He will lead and manage the establishment and subsequent operation of BBMRI-ERIC, a distributed bio-medical and life science infrastructure for sustainable storage and dissemination of biobanked samples and associated data in Europe. The opening date for applications was January  21st, 2013. Closing date for the receipt of applications was 17:00 CET, February 28th, 2013. The Search Committee appointed by the Preparatory Body of BBMRI-ERIC invited short-listed candidates for an interview to Vienna, Austria. The appointment of the Director General of BBMRI-ERIC is expected to be in autumn 2013.
